Mark Owers
Parent Governor
I am delighted to serve as a Governor at Le Rocquier School, a community I genuinely care about and am proud to be part of. I have two boys currently in Year 8, so I experience the school both as a parent and as a governor, which gives me a strong personal commitment to its success.
I love the ethos of Le Rocquier and want to do everything I can to support both staff and pupils to thrive. Schools work best when there is trust, encouragement and shared ambition, and I see my role as helping to create the conditions in which teachers can teach brilliantly and young people can flourish.
Professionally, I bring experience in governance, senior leadership and service improvement. I have worked extensively in safeguarding and inclusion, supporting organisations to strengthen practice, improve outcomes and build positive cultures. I am particularly passionate about ensuring that every child feels safe, understood and able to achieve their potential.
It is a privilege to contribute to the strategic leadership of the school, and I look forward to supporting Le Rocquier’s continued success.
