Work Related Learning is a programme that was set up three years ago to give students the chance to gain real life experience in vocations that they might consider after leaving school. Students spend one day a week of their timetable in the work place.

Work Related Learning is an option, so will take the place of one of the option GCSE’s & due to it taking up 20% of a student's timetable, students need to be organised to catch up on work they miss from their lessons.

Specific information about the Key Stage 4 curriculum and how it is assessed:

There is no formal assessment for Work Related Learning, but students are regularly visited and their progress monitored and tracked.
