Many initiatives embedded in the school reading calendar include: a free book for all Year 7 students; weekly Literacy lessons with a reading comprehension focus for all Year 7,8 and 9 students; annual reading challenges for Years 7-9; a peer reading programme; author visits; assemblies; reading displays and a ‘Book of the Month’.

From September there will be a weekly oracy lessons for all students in Years 7 and 8 with a focus on developing speaking and listening skills.

We welcome your feedback and should you have any comments or suggestions please contact us via the school office.
