2. Minutes of previous AGM.
The Minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting (AGM), held on Thursday 9 November 2017 were confirmed by a show of hands and were agreed as a correct record, so signed by the Chairman.
3. Matters arising from the Minutes.
There were no matters arising from the Minutes of the previous AGM.
4. Chairman’s Report for 2017/2018.
The Chairman’s report for the year 2017/2018 was presented by Peter (copy attached).
5. The Secretary’s Report.
The Secretary thanked everyone for their help over the year and for all of the fundraising ideas.
6. Treasurer’s Report.
The audited accounts were presented, showing a balance at 31stt August 2018 of £1,845.28.
100 Club: At the moment 96 tickets have been sold. The winner of the September draw was number 32 and the October draw Number 72.
7. Election of Officers and Committee Members for 2018/2019.
The election of officers was as follows.
(a) Chairman: Peter Monamy
Proposed by Stewart and seconded by Gary.
(b) Vice-Chairman: Stewart Elston
Proposed by Peter and seconded by Lisa.
(c) Secretary: Lisa Howkins
Proposed by Peter and seconded by Nicola.
(d) Treasurer: Jennifer Richardson
Proposed by Peter and seconded by Sam.
8. Election of Committee Members.
The Meeting re-appointed the following 5 Committee Members:
Alan and Prue Cameron, Sam Ennis, Fenella Le Signe, Nicola Tucker and Gary
Everyone was proposed by Peter and seconded by Stewart.
9. Appointment of Honorary Auditor.
The Meeting re-appointed Steve Key as Honorary Auditor and would again like to thank him for all of his work in auditing the PTA books. This was proposed by Peter and seconded by Lisa.
10. Any other business.
The Christmas meal was booked by Lisa for 6 December at the Pembroke for 7 pm.
The application form for setting the PTA up for Charitable status has been submitted to the Jersey Charity Commissioner via the relevant website.
The meeting closed at 9.30. Wine, water, tea, coffee and nibbles were served.
